Local Existing Programs

Food & Clothing Program ­- Local & International Program:

"Operation: Feed the Needy"  is a year round emergency food and clothing program helping families in need.  We also offer services to help families on an international level.

Every week Monday-Friday, we distribute grocery boxes to pre-approved, low income families in need of food assistance.

Operation Toys for Kids                                                           

Toys for kids is a seasonal program known to put smiles on children's faces. Every year, around Christmas time, we distribute toys to children ages 0-10 years old.  Parents are required to sign up their children NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 30TH for their children to qualify.

Back to School Supplies to Needy Children

For more than five years, we have been offering quality free back-to-school supplies to students so they can be prepared for the first day of school and all year long.

Health & Wellness

One month out the year is designated as our health and wellness month. This is our way of  preparing people to become health conscious as they start the New Year. Free blood pressure kits are given to at risk participants.

Counseling Programs                                                            Helping Hands Cummunity Programs offers the following counseling services:

  • Individuals seeking career change or experiencing career problems
  • How to find a job, How to keep a job, How to quit a job gracefully
  • Individuals wanting to reach their life's potential
  • Couples seeking to cope with the complexities of relationsips
  • Couples seeking to cope with the complexities of family life
  • Those suffering from depression and other emotional pain
  • Those suffering from domestic, physical, or sexual abuse
  • Parents trying to cope with the emotional issues of their children
  • Young adults coping with parents, peers, sexuality or self-esteem
  • Young adults trying to cope with substance abuse

People of all races, denominations, and backgrounds who are seeking a stronger spiritual identity in a secular society.

Job Readiness Training Program

Teach people to:                          

  • Believe in themselves and fulfill their destiny
  • Utilize their ability to think positively and make good decisions
  • Sit in the driver's seat and take control of their life
  • Make their own decisions without being totally dependent on others
  • Accepting changes and how to work with them
  • Dealing with their problems effectively

Computer Training                                        

Using the computer is easy, but we understand how hard it seems to those who have never had the opportunity to learn how to move a mouse.  In today's world almost every job requires the knowing something about the computer.  We will teach you how to master the computer.  Including learning to develop software and designing a website.
